(Indre Kvarøy, Norway; March 7, 2022) From the northern lights of Norway to the sunny streets of California, Kvarøy Arctic is popping up at Natural Products Expo West (March 10-12, Booth 5094, East Hall) in Anaheim to shed a new light on the traditional hot dog.
Sporting a custom made hot dog stand, Kvarøy Arctic will offer up a taste of its sustainable salmon hot dog, prepared by Chef Eric Gephart. Each full-sized sample will be served like a nostalgic game-day dog with ketchup and mustard. Kvarøy Arctic salmon burgers are also available upon request. Showcasing its dedication to sustainability and environmental stewardship, Kvarøy Arctic is also part of the 85+ ft Plastic Rainbow installation with a display of chairs upcycled from its net pens and a film about the process.
Kvarøy Arctic is a third-generation family-owned farm certified by the American Heart Association, Fair Trade USA, ASC, BAP, Global GAP, Whole Foods Market. All Kvarøy Arctic products are Kosher and Gluten-free. IBM Blockchain is utilized for traceability and transparency. Their dedication to community and mission to ensure all Americans have access to affordable, nutritious fish inspired a donation program where thousands of pounds of salmon are donated to food banks across the country each month.
