Cassava, einkorn, and brown rice pastas; einkorn flours and wheat berries; olive oil; jarred tomatoes, chickpeas and beans all showcase a new look that underscores simplicity. The streamlined design emphasizes jovial’s key tenets: delicious, thoughtfully-crafted, high-quality foods that speak to the dietary needs of many and are enjoyed by all.

To achieve the updated appearance, jovial collaborated with the Sonoma, California-based agency, Truly Creative Design. The new packaging features a clean aesthetic, with images of rolling Italian hillsides that serve to unify the brand’s breadth of products while providing a cohesive sense of whimsy and romanticism. Photographs of the Italian farmland where jovial’s farm partners grow their Non-GMO Project Verified and Certified 100% Organic crops lend further credence to the brand’s “good food starts at the farm” philosophy. Images of craveable home cooked meals, and easy-to-follow recipes aim to further strengthen jovial’s connection to its legion consumer fan base and new customers alike. A new color coding design scheme ensures easy identification on grocery and home shelves. Grain-free pastas are marked with blue accents while gluten-free pastas are delineated with green accents, and einkorn-based products are labeled “easy to digest,” emphasizing the grain’s suitability for many eaters who suffer from gluten sensitivity.
