Our Story
Thunderbird was founded in 2010 in Austin, Texas, when two adventurous triathletes were inspired to create a great tasting, whole food energy bar. They believed simple, real food is all that’s needed to make a delicious bar. (They were right!). Today, Thunderbird’s reputation and flavor innovation hold true. And in 2022, we joined forces with a powerhouse family of brands crafted in Lockhart, Texas—Wella–and we’re excited to drive massive growth into 2023 and beyond with the support of our new family.
